Elizabeth Brandon

My name is Liz Brandon and I live in Jackson, Mississippi with my husband, our two dogs, and three cats. I’m a Biology teacher at Belhaven University. I earned a Bachelors from Delta State University and a Doctorate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I did a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center for three years. The thing I love about teaching Biology is watching students get to the point where they learn to teach themselves and become independent researchers. I like to help students assess their strengths and talents and develop a vision for what they want their professional lives to be like. I also like gardening, reading, swimming, biking, and hiking.

Farhan Nafis

My name is Farhan Nafis and I moved to Mississippi in the early 90’s from Karachi, Pakistan. I live with my lovely wife and 3 beautiful children in Madison and work as a Hospitalist and Emergency Room Physician at Baptist Medical Center in Yazoo City. In my free time, I volunteer at our local mosque, MIC, and teach at its Sunday School. I hope to be of assistance whenever possible for the people of our community and am excited to help out with the Draw a Smile team.

Ingrid Piernas

My name is Ingrid Piernas and I live in Byram, MS. I am the mother of two daughters and three very spoiled rotten cats. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Millsaps College. I enjoy volunteering with the youth at my church, reading, taking long walks and working in my yard. I am truly excited and honored to have been asked to be a part of the Draw a Smile team. I truly believe we were made to be of service to others.

Sean Robbins
Social Media Marketer
A native Massassachusettsian? Massachusite? Sean’s from Massachusetts and studied business at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He graduated with a BS in Marketing. He is wicked excited to be providing support to Draw A Smile’s Social Media efforts. He enjoys spending his spare time playing soccer and hiking.

I am a student at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. I want to make a positive difference in our world. I recognize every moment is an opportunity to do something great, whether it be big or small. I love to play basketball and watch YouTube videos, usually not at the same time. I’m happy to be a part of the Draw a Smile team.

Steven Campbell
Project Manager
I am located in the northern suburbs of Chicago. I have a background in the IT industry; however, I am passionate about empowering people and improving the human condition. My other major long-standing interest is in economics, such as tackling some of the economic factors that adversely affect the quality of life of those impacted. I’ve joined the team to take these two interests and make an impact. For fun, I may do PC gaming or researching. Watching the trolls online troll each other can be really entertaining too.

Amanda Larson
Community Liason
My name is Amanda Larson and I live in Appleton, Wisconsin with my husband our two beautiful children and my dog. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of Minnesota and taught science to middle school aged students for a few years before deciding to stay home with my 5 year old son and my 2 year old daughter. I love to read, go to movies and we are huge Green Bay Packers fans! I am honored to be a part of Draw A Smile foundation and hope to be a valuable asset to the team by increasing our social media presence.
